As a researcher and PhD student at the Visual Recognition Group (VRG) at FEE, Czech Technical University in Prague, I work under the guidance of prof. Ing. Jiří Matas Ph.D.. My passion lies in advancing machine learning applications for visual recognition tasks, with a particular focus on developing robust computer vision algorithms that perform reliably in real-world scenarios. I'm especially drawn to tackling the challenging last 10% -- the details that transform promising research into practical solutions.
My doctoral research centers on analyzing human body dynamics in images and videos. While my primary expertise is in Human Pose Estimation, I work across the full spectrum of human analysis, including Person Detection, Instance Segmentation, 3D Pose and Shape Estimation, and Tracking. Beyond academia, I serve as a coach for Sokol Královské Vinohrady, a floorball team competing in the Czech premier league. When not immersed in research or sports, you'll find me exploring the worlds of psychology and epic fantasy literature.

- May 2025 : I was recognized as an outstanding reviewer (top ~5%) for CVPR 2025.
- April 2025 : I was accepted to the ICVSS summer school. The addmission rate was around 14%.
- March 2025 : My team finished the season in top 8 teams in Czech, reaching the best result in club history.
- Februray 2025 : Our ProbPose paper got accepted to CVPR 2025. Contact me if you want to meet in Nashville!
- Februray 2025 : I passed the state doctoral exam with distinction. Looking forward to the CVPR results next week.

- January 2025 PC-CSE paper was accepted to CVWW 2025.
- December 2024 : A new paper (PC-CSE) I co-supervised is available. Check it out on ArXiv.
- November 2024 : We release two new papers, BBox-Mask-Pose and ProbPose.
- October 2024 : I co-organized and presented our work at a AI4Sports conference in Prague. Thanks to all the participants and prg.ai for a great event! Recording will be available upon request.
- September 2024 : I attended ECCV 2024 in Milano.
- June 2024 : Our RePoGen paper was awarded with a best poster award .
- May 2024 : I presented our RePoGen papaper at Face and Gesture conference in Istanbul.
- April 2024 : I became a head coach of our floorball team. (short website in Czech)
- April 2024 : We (SKV) lost in the Round of 16 of Livesport Superleague and are out of the competition for this season. We scored the most points in the regular part in the club's history.
